Kokhi Dafa is a Newa community in Harisiddhi, Lalitpur, dedicated to preserving and continuing the ancient Newa culture. The community focuses on maintaining traditional music and musical instruments, such as the khin and basuri, which are integral to their cultural heritage. The community actively participates in many jatras and cultural events, including Bhintuna, to celebrate and preserve their rich traditions.
